Here is the quick and easy way to create your own greeting card for Independence day.
Watch the video here
We are going to create a poster for Independence Day. First we need to set the file size. so I’m just creating a new file and I’ll be selecting film and video from the prset and here I’ll be selecting HDTV1920 *1080
okay so this will be having a Full HD dimension okay I will start with
the pen tool take the pen tool and draw a curve like this and we will
drag it here and just complete the drawing and this close it so now we
got a closet path now what I am going to do is I have to make a
selection from this path so load path as selection now we go to the
selection and I want to make this selection to a new layer so created a
new layer and I will fill this with a green color which is there in our
flag so I selected the green color and just fill it with the paint
bucket tool. okay now deselect. now I want to make a copy of this layer
so duplicate and I’ll just move this a little bit up okay and I’m going
to change the transparency mode to. okay hard light selected hard light
okay now I’m going to use a eraser tool so I’ll be selecting the brush
thisI will select this brush.. I am changing the spacing of the brush
and just use the brush eraser to start erasing from the bottom side in a curved shape so that will blend with the shape of the layer so I’ll erase in that way see we got the layer like this okay now
I am duplicating this layer once again and I am going to do the same
proceduremove this up and I am going to change the layer mode into hard
light and use the eraser tool and start erasing in the curved way
okay now I am changing the layer mode into I’m changing the layer mode
into linear color dodge and duplicating the once again and I am doing
the same procedure with this layer also. start erasing using the eraser
tool and change the color more into overlay so we got these three layers and I’ll be making some arrangements in the position as well as the layer transparency mode.
okay now we got it like this now I am going to do the same procedure with another layer so duplicator I’ll be moving this support and I am going to flip this in vertical manner so go to transform and flip vertical and I want this to mirror so I just go to transform and flip horizontal so we got the shape in this way now I’m going to fill this with the saffron color which is there and our flag I just smooth the support and place it
here okay now I want to have the white area to be filled so I am
selecting thisusing magic wand tool and just inverse the selection
select inverse and I’ll be creating a new layer and there I’ll be
filling this with the white color so we got it like this and I will just
rearrange the layer I’ll bring this into the bottom then just above the background layer okay so we got three colors and now they select change the position of the layer and I’m going to do all the procedure that we have done with the bottom layer bring the Ashoka Chakra image from external file so I will be just selecting that file this is a PNG file so I just selected this Ashoka Chakra
and I’m just dragging this from here to our image okay I am just cross
this and I’m just rearranging the layer order I’ll bring this upward so
that it will be visible correctly and I’m just positioning here okay
I’m going to fill the background layer of the Ashoka chakra with the
white paint brush so I I use the same brush to fill the background of
the Ashoka chakra with white color okay and I’m going to change the
transparency mode of this particular layer I selected screen okay now I’m
going to open some other drawings from the external file
Just drag and drop it to our file and I’m using the magic wand tool to erase the white area in this drawing just select and delete to select a guy used to farmers image because farmers having very important role in India I’m closing this and I’m going to import another image which is the picture of stencil image of our soldiers I just drag and drop this here and just erase the white area soldiers having a very important role to protect our country so I use these two images based on the concept and I’m just rearranging the layers Now I am bringing white dove and I’m just dragging and dropping this into image and I’ll be arranging it in a beautiful manner to match with his concept so we got all the element that is required to build the poster and now I am going to add the text so I want the text to come adjacent to this Ashok chakra so I am just using the pen tool to create a curve first and after that I’ll be using the text tool I’m going to type the 15 August into this curved shape and see I already made a video on how to create the text effects in my previous film poster designing series if you haven’t watched that you can watch it from here above corner and also it is there in the description box
I just type the text and I’m going to arrange this in a suitable way I need to do further more modification to all the layers so I am just doing some other layer transparency mores and some other modifications now I’m going to apply the layer style so just right click here and blending options so we’ll be getting the layer style options and I’m going to play a stroke and drop shadow so this is now applied to the happy Independence Day now I want this the same effect to the 15th August so just copy the layer style from here and paste this over the 15 August layer and paste it so we got the same letter for both the letters now I’m making further more arrangements in the layer blending options are all I’m just going to change the color of the Ashoka Chakra means I’m just matching the color to the original flag color so just adjust the levels a little bit darker okay I’m going to make some changes into the total appearance of this poster so just changing the form and arranging the layers position just use the brush tour and filled us with the flags color I wanted posture to be looked like a painting so I am selecting the text layer first and just merging this layer to make the effects of oil paint so I just merge this and go to filter and apply oil paint and I’m just changing the parameters of the oil paint effect Now we got the layers as an oil paint effect and I’m going to apply the oil paint effect to the all layers one by one now we got our poster of Independence Day and it is extremely looking like an oil paint.
Removing a complex background from an
image is somewhat tough job.. but you
don't worry.Photoshop has some easiest
and smartest way to remove a complex
background from an image just like this
welcome to my channel this is jubair
the last chapter we have discussed about
the image setting for a film poster
designing and this is the second chapter.
In this chapter I'm going to show you
how to remove a complex background from background from
an image using some Photoshop tools and techniques. So let's do play move to the tutorials
So first I'm going to import a
still image for this film poster. so
just double click over the workspace and
from this folder let me take. okay let me take
this picture. open.. so this picture is a
little bit high resolution image. see let
me show you the image size of this
particular picture so this is a high
resolution image.This is because
this is an image taken using a DSLR
camera. So anyway we are selecting only
the required area from this image.for
that we are doing our first selection so
here we are having our first selection
tool which is rectangular marquee tool
okay so using this particular tool what
we are going to do is we are just trying
to draw a rectangle which is our required area
and this image so the rest of this area
we don't need for that either we can
delete the rest of the area or we can
crop it so for that we are using image
crop to crop this area out of the
selection so we will be getting only
this area so we want to move this
particular image to our plane Photoshop
file for that we are selecting the move
tool we are having the move tool here
just drag and drop over here. that's it..
In this tutorial you will learn the second chapter of creating film
poster design.
And here we will remove the complex background from the
images using following selection tools
The most obvious selection tools in PS are found in the toolbar which is
located together with your brushes, pens, and cloning tools.
Marquee
The first one from the top of the toolbar is the Marquee tool
Lasso tool
Magnetic lasso tool
Magic Wand tool
Quick Selection tool Color Range
Inverse
Grow
A selection is an area of a photo that you define. When you create a
selection, the area is editable (for example, you can
lighten one part of a photo without affecting the rest). You can make a
selection with either a selection tool or a
selection command. A selection border, which you can hide, surrounds the
selection. You can change, copy, or delete pixels
inside the selection border, but you can’t touch areas outside the
selection border until you deselect the selection.
Adobe Photoshop Elements provides selection tools for different kinds of
selections. For example, the Elliptical Marquee
tool selects circular and elliptical areas, and the Magic Wand tool can
select an area of similar colors with one click.
More complex selections can be made with one of the Lasso tools.
You can
even smooth the edges of a selection with
feathering and anti-aliasing.
Rectangular Marquee tool: Draws square or rectangular selection borders.
Elliptical Marquee tool: Draws round or elliptical selection borders.
Lasso tool: Draws freehand selecti
on borders, best for precision.
Polygonal Lasso tool: Draws multiple straight-edged segments of a
selection border.
Magnetic Lasso tool: Draws a selection border that automatically snaps
to edges when you drag over in the photo.
Magic Wand tool: Selects pixels of similar color with one click
Quick Selection tool: Quickly and automatically makes selection based on
color and texture when you click or click-drag an
area
In this tutorial you will learn the first chapter of creating film
poster designing. For that you will learn how to make the image setting
in photoshop. This tutorial was made to familiarize anyone to using Adobe
Photoshop, and start creating awesome graphic design and projects
today! This long video is a 5-Section tutorial that was designed to be a
resource which could be used if one wishes to improve upon/ learn one
certain aspect covered in the basics, however if you are a complete
beginner, I recommend you follow along the whole way though this

with your knowledge and ability as you continue getting more
comfortable with the program. you will also learn different presets
available in photoshop. Adobe photoshop for print media, web media,
mobile, Film and TV. you will learn about Pixel dimension, Image
resolution and color mode in Photoshop.
In this video I talk and explain the following
have you thought of making up a film poster from a screenshot? or do you
want to see your own face on a film
poster? then this video is exclusively
for you because in this video I'm going
to show you how to make a film poster
from a raw video footage.. just like this
as you can see that this is the raw
video footage of my own short flim and
I took the screenshot of my actor from
this video to make the film poster you
can see that this is the film poster
that I made from the screen shot of my
actors. Hello guys this is Jubair and
welcome to my channel this is the first
video of my channel and through this
video I'm going to show you step by step
procedure of making a film post and
design. So this video can be useful for
all the people who is having some basic knowledge of Photoshop.Even if you don't
have any knowledge of Photoshop you can learn Photoshop from this video because
through this video I'm going to show you
each and everything that is required to
learn Photoshop. So before we start any
Photoshop file we should make some Image
setting for the Photoshop so let's
quickly go to the Photoshop tutorials.
So guys before we start working in
Photoshop we have to decide for what
media we are actually making this
project. So if you are working for a
print media the image size will be
different if you are working for a web
media the pixel dimension and resolution
will be different and if you are working
for film or TV there is another pixel
dimension for that. So this particular
project that we are going to do is
actually for publishing over the social
media platforms especially for Facebook
and Instagram. so we have pixel
dimensions accordingly. For any project
Photoshop has given preset to set the
pixel dimensions so when you're
selecting file new you'll be getting a
dialog box where we can actually set the
visit so here we are having a lot of
preset.see here the first three things first
three things is actually for print
media. so US paper international paper and photo this is
basically for the print media so if you
are picking any of this you'll be
getting the image dimension accordingly.
so we'll be getting the
letter size that is equal five width and
screen so this is you can see that 800
by 600 so these are the screen
resolutions that we commonly use so that
is there and see when we select
this and you can see that the resolution
will be 72 so the screen resolution is
72 see 72 pixels per inch resolution and
we are having this color mode normally
if we want to show anything on the show
media in RGB color modes so the color mode we
have to change for our project
so so this is what this preset which is
available in Photoshop for creating any
Photoshop file so there's now you'll learn different
presets that is available in Photoshop to
make variety of Photoshop designs so now
we have to make the settings for our
film poster design so before we
go to that section I would like to
request you to subscribe my channel and
don't forget to click the bell
notification so that you will get the
first notification to watch my video
so I already mentioned that before we
start any Photoshop file this should set
the image size so let me show you the
images of this particular poter for
that we have to right-click over this
title bar and right click and see the
Image size.
